Richard K. Warfield, CPA
Richard Warfield is the president and founder of Warfield & Company, CPAs Ltd. Prior to founding Warfield & Company, CPAs, Richard headed a local accounting firm in Hudson, Ohio. Rich has also been a tax partner at Saltz, Shamis and Goldfarb (SS&G) and a partner in the Mayfield Heights firm, Zucker & Warfield, Inc., where he developed a not-for-profit practice (NFP) serving labor unions and 501(C)(3) (charitable organizations) entities.
Rich's twenty-eight years of professional experience also include experience with an international accounting firm with offices in New York and New Jersey, where he solidified his extensive tax knowledge serving large and closely-held companies. In addition, Rich has represented clients with audits by the Internal Revenue Service and the State of Ohio.
Mr. Warfield's clients are primarily closely held companies, NFP organizations and high net worth individuals. His many strengths include a strong knowledge of financial budgeting services. Yet the most valuable services Rich renders to his business clients is year -end tax planning and providing guidance for growing their businesses.
Richard holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Kent State University and is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio and New Jersey.

Richard J. Mackessy, CPA
Rick Mackessy is a director with Warfield & Company, CPAs Ltd. Rick has over 30 years of experience in accounting and financial consulting both in public accounting and industry. Rick has served in a wide range of roles including accounting and finance, interim management, restructuring and mergers and acquisitions.
Rick's clients are primarily privately owned closely-held companies and their owners and officers where he provides comprehensive services that address both the financial needs of the business as well as the tax and financial planning needs of the owners and officers. He is well-versed in dealing with the accounting, tax planning and tax compliance issues related to closely-held businesses and business owners. Rick has provided accounting and tax services for companies with revenues ranging from $500,000 to $350 million; he has experience in the aluminum, automotive, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, metal fabrication, professional services and technology industries.
Rick also assists his clients in developing comprehensive budgets, financial models, cash forecasts and financial reports that help them to focus on key performance issues and exceptions that help them better manage their business and more quickly address problems.
Having been the COO and CFO of several companies, Rick has directed all aspects of the financial management function with special emphasis on cost effectively supporting sales and marketing efforts while controlling and reducing costs. He has assisted a number of companies in re-sizing operations and restructuring debt in line with their capital structures and expected revenue levels.
Rick holds a BS in BA degree from John Carroll University and is licensed to practice as a Certified Public Accountant in Ohio.

Rachel Kyungsook St. John, CPA, MBA
Rachel is a senior accountant of Warfield & Company, CPAs Ltd. Rachel has twenty-two years of experience in a combination of public accounting and financial industry. She has worked in regional and local CPA firms for the last five years including international accounting experience in Northern Virgina. She also worked for fifteen years in national financial institutions as a senior accountant. She possesses strong knowledge in the accounting, finance, and tax area. She enjoys working with closely held business owners and assisting the clients' business growth and providing financial advice.
Rachel is licensed to practice as a certified public accountant in Ohio and Virginia, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants. She is an active member of the Korean Church in Brecksville, and serves as a translator for the Korean American Society. Rachel received her BBA in Accounting and MBA from Cleveland State University.
Rachel loves to travel and explore new ideas and read philosophy books. When she retires, she will write her travel stories, and sail around the world with her happily married husband, Michael.

Rich Leach, Manager
Rich is a manager at Warfield & Company, CPAs Ltd. Rich has over twenty years of experience in public accounting where he has worked for local CPA firms in the Akron area.
Rich also worked for a local food production and distribution company as the Vice President of Operations for 5 years. He possesses
strong knowledge in the accounting, finance, acquisitions and tax area, enjoys working with closely held business owners and assisting
the clients' business growth and providing financial advice.
Rich lives in Munroe Falls with his two sons. He received his BBA in accounting from Mercyhurst College in Erie, PA.
Rich enjoys spending time with his sons and playing various sports. He also enjoys coaching football, basketball and baseball.

Vicki S. Soukup, Staff Accountant
Vicki has been a tax accountant, with Warfield & Company CPAs, Ltd., since August 2008. Previous to Warfield & Company, she spent 21 with other local public accounting firms, including 8 years with a firm in Hudson. Vicki enjoys working with clients, particularly in the area of tax planning for closely held businesses and individuals. She earned both her BA and MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Vicki and her husband, Chris, reside in Hudson where they have raised their 3 grown sons. A former 8-year member of the Hudson Board of Education, Vicki Served as President for 2 years and Vice President for 3 years. Additionally, she has been very involved in the Hudson community and as an advocate for education on a state-wide basis. Vicki is an active alumnus of Washington University and interviews Cleveland area students applying for admission.
In her free time, Vicki enjoys gardening, reading and travel, especially frequent visits across country to see her sons. She is also the primary caretaker of elderly relatives and has become versed in many issues affecting the elderly, including taxes, Social Security and Medicare.

Tina Blakeslee, Paraprofessional
Tina Blakeslee is a paraprofessional with fourteen years of experience in public accounting. Before joining Warfield & Company CPAs, Ltd. she was the office manager for a law firm in Cleveland, Ohio from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, she was employed by two other local CPA firms from 1993 to 2000.
With her considerable experience in public accounting, Tina is responsible for a large number of clients, including not-for-profit labor unions. She supervises and trains our bookkeepers for the firm as well as our clients. Her experience includes client and financial statement setup, preparation of payroll and payroll taxes, monthly accounting, budgets, and all associated tax returns. In addition, Tina possesses vast knowledge in the preparation of individual federal, state and local tax returns and has assisted in and performed field work on many audits.
Tina is thorough, detail-oriented and very organized. She is personable, enjoys working with people, and is known for providing great service with a smile.

Barbara Benden, Paraprofessional
Barb joined Warfield and Company CPAs in 2011 while employed with a Hudson CPA firm for the last eight years. Prior to raising their family, Barb worked for a local bank in Youngstown, Ohio for 15 years as an assistant Vice President/Branch Manager. She earned her B.A. in accounting from Youngstown State University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Volunteering for their church and local outreach programs keep Barb and her husband Norm busy. While their two daughters were in Hudson area schools, Barb volunteered and worked as a substitute aide at the various schools.
Barb enjoys walking and kayaking, especially in Hudson Springs Park, along with frequent trips to Poland, Ohio to visit family

Michelle Tomasulo, Office Administrator
Michelle Tomasulo is the office administrator and processor with several years of experience for Warfield & Company CPAs, Ltd. She started her career in the restaurant business, Michelle and her husband owned their own family restaurant for fifteen years. She managed all accounting records for business, including payroll, deposits, vendor relations, etc.
Michelle is continuing her education, she is experienced with each of these programs Quick books, Excel, Word, Creative Solutions, Practice Creative Solutions, Peach Tree, etc.
Away from the office, Michelle is the mother of four and enjoys spending time with her children. She enjoys long walks and bike riding. Her weekends are usually spent on the sideline of a soccer or football field.

Susan Emery, Office Administrator Assistant
Susan Emery began working for Warfield & Company CPAs, Ltd. in January, 2009. She assists with the office administration and income tax processing. Previously she worked with another CPA firm in Hudson for 31 years as an office administrator, and did payroll and bookkeeping services for a number of companies using Creative Solutions and Ultra Tax.
She also assists her two sons with their accounting and bookkeeping work using Quick Books for both of their corporate companies.
Sue enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with her five grandchildren.
